Dalhousie is located 18 kilometers from Kangra in the state of Himachal Pradesh also called the King of the mountains, where nature has provided great sample of beauty. The soft, slow and elegant winds of the people here embrace everyone's mind. When you go to this place there you can find the mountains, trees, and greenery extending far and wide, this sight is also more appealing to the mind.

This priceless heritage of the Chamba valley proves to be a joy to the mind in the heat. Snow can be enjoyed here in the winter season and the temperature goes below zero. When there is severe heat in the plains, the temperature here also reaches 35 degrees. This place was discovered by the British Governor General Lord Dalhousie in the middle of the 19th century.

Big stone - Located at a distance of four kilometers from Dalhousie, there is a temple of Bhuwani Mata in Ahla village  in which people come from far and wide to see.

Dhainkund - This place is situated about 10 kilometers away from Dalhousie. Here is a panoramic view of Vyas, Chenab and Ravi rivers. It has become a famous tourist destination for tourists visiting here.

Bakrota Hills- Bakrota Mall is a very popular place for those who visit here. There is a beautiful view of the mountain lanes.

Kalapat- A small Wild Life Century in Kalat, situated about eight and a half kilometers away. Wild animals can be seen here.

Subhash Bawli - Located about one and a half kilometers from the GPO, Subhash Bawli. Here snow-covered peaks can be easily seen.

Satdhara- The water here is considered sacred. However, due to having many types of minerals in this water, it works as a medicine.

Panjpula- The view here is worth seeing. Here flows beneath the five small bridges of water. This place is located at a distance of 2 km.

How to reach: It is not difficult to reach the visitors by road. Dalhousie can easily be reach via Chandigarh from Delhi-NCR. It is located 18 km away from the railway station of Kangra which is the closest.  Gagal Airport located in Kangra is the nearest airport here. After the Kangra, for the tourists, such a hill station, is only 12 kilometers away.

Dalhousie is located 514 kilometers from Delhi. The distance here is 239 km from Chandigarh, 214 km from Kullu and 332 km from Shimla. Chamba is 192 kms away from here.
